ABA 518 - Behavior Change Procedures


In this course, students will learn considerations for the selection and implementation of behavioral intervention techniques and approaches. This information will be contextualized across a variety of applied settings. Key learning objectives include, but are not limited to, the utilization of assessment data accrued during ABA 517 to develop a comprehensive behavioral intervention plan for a client utilizing a variety of different behavior change procedures. Multiple practical application activities are embedded in the course to ensure transfer of knowledge to real world practice contexts, including behavior change procedures related to both decreasing problem behavior and increasing skill acquisition. This course aligns with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board’s (BACB®) 6th edition test content outline (TCO) and focuses primarily within the behavior-change procedures and selecting and implementing interventions sections. Other key elements from the TCO will be included throughout the course as well.
