BUS 420 - Labor Relations and Employment Law

This course will introduce students to the historical and cultural development of the legal, ethical and regulatory environment of modern business as it relates to the employment relationship. Topics will include common law rules governing the relationship of employer-employee, principal-agent and employer-independent contractor, labor unions, collective bargaining, labor disputes, diversity, equity and inclusion.
