SUST 570 - Social Innovation & Design Thinking

Innovation requires creative solutions to challenging problems. This course focuses on the process and tools of design thinking that can develop an understanding of consumer problems so that businesses can generate ideas to solve these problems. Design thinking is a creative and systematic approach for solving problems by relying on human-centered and iterative processes. In this course, students will develop concepts and prototype solutions, and experiment and adapt these solutions to meet customer needs.
