ABA 533 - Progressive Applications in ABA

Applied behavior analysis (ABA) when implemented with flexibility, clinical judgment, and in-the-moment assessment involves progressive approaches and outcomes. Unfortunately, many ABA programs do not implement a progressive approach and are often rigid, inflexible, and protocol driven. In this course, students will read book chapters, commentaries, and research articles that overview a progressive approach to ABA across several domains. This includes discrete trial teaching, data collection, social skills interventions, functional analysis, and more.
