ABA 531 - Cultural Responsiveness and Diversity

This course will investigate cultural humility and what it means to ABA as a practitioner, researcher, and supervisor. Students will learn about cultural competency assessments in other fields and engage in self-reflection throughout the course. Students will learn more about topical areas that should be considered when practicing through a culturally humble lens. Journal articles and book chapters from behavior analytic literature and related fields will be used to build on cultural responsiveness and diversity and the application of behavior analytic principles, effective education, and clinical treatment.
