ABA 585 - Thesis I: Thesis Proposal & Development Research within the field of applied behavior analysis leads to the development of evidence-based interventions and expands our knowledge of treatments that make a socially significant difference. For the degree, you must conduct an experimental study or complete a comprehensive literature review using the PRISMA Model (Page et al., 2021; Moher et al., 2009) that increases our understanding of applied behavior analysis. In this course students will complete a thesis topic proposal for committee review and develop the methodology for the implementation of their thesis. After the conclusion of this course, the student will complete the remaining requirements of their thesis by enrolling and completing Thesis II: Investigation & Report Writing (ABA572) and Thesis III: Presentation & Defense (ABA698).
