Healthcare Management (Master of Science)


The Master of Science in Healthcare Management (MSHCM) degree program at Endicott College is structured for individuals aiming to work or currently working in management positions within various medical and healthcare institutions. This 36-credit program provides a practitioner-focused curriculum designed to impart essential knowledge, competencies, techniques, and skills necessary for effective leadership and management in the healthcare industry.

Students in the MSHCM program will develop skills in key areas such as leadership, data analytics, finance, technology, operations and quality improvement, and strategy. These areas are essential for establishing, managing, and leading healthcare organizations. The program focuses on building competencies in data-driven decision-making and process improvement, which are critical for contributing to the growth and quality of the healthcare sector.

The program is delivered entirely online, offering flexibility for working professionals. The curriculum includes eight core classes (24 credits) covering fundamental healthcare management aspects. Additionally, students complete four courses (12 credits) within one of the following concentration tracks: Health Informatics, Operations Management, Public Administration, or Information Technology Management. Each course is designed to be completed in six weeks, providing an intensive learning experience.

Students receive personalized advising throughout the program to support their academic and professional development. The flexible enrollment options allow students to balance their studies with work and personal responsibilities. The program is offered online asynchronous and delivered in 6-week courses.
