The Gerrish School of Business offers degrees in accounting, business management, entrepreneurship, events management, finance, healthcare management, hospitality management, international business and marketing designed to prepare students for a lifetime of career options. By combining a solid foundation in the major field with the breadth of knowledge in the liberal arts, each degree offering provides the analytical, ethical, communication and problem-solving capabilities needed to support life-long learning and personal growth. The acquisition of professional skills through experiential learning prepares graduates for rewarding opportunities.

Since its founding, Endicott College has focused on experiential learning as a cornerstone of its educational philosophy. The student journey begins on-campus in state-of-the-art classrooms and learning labs where students receive individualized attention and support from faculty, advisors and staff. Learning is integrated with off-campus experiences, including three structured internships and exploratory networking opportunities, which provide Endicott students with the unique advantage of gaining access to exciting career opportunities prior to graduation.

Gerrish School of Business graduates begin their careers in varied organizational settings, including for-profit and not-for-profit, entrepreneurial start up and small business, and Fortune 500 global enterprises. Students engage in activities across the business spectrum including corporate finance, investments, marketing, sales, events management, human resources, and management.

Student-led clubs offer additional opportunities for students to be involved in meaningful co-curricular activities.  The Gerrish School of Business houses several relevant student organizations providing leadership and experiential learning opportunities for students across the campus including the AH&LA Club representing the American Hotel and Lodging Association, Collegiate DECA, Events Management Organization (EMO), Entrepreneurship Club, Investment Club, Marketing Club, Women in Leadership, and Charity Craft Club. In addition, business students who qualify may be inducted into Sigma Beta Delta, an international business honor society with chapters around the globe.  Hospitality students may qualify for Eta Sigma Delta (ESD), an international hospitality honor society governed by the International Council of Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Educators (ICHRIE). Both honor societies recognize junior and senior students for outstanding academic achievement, service, and professionalism.

The Angle Center of Entrepreneurship, housed within the Gerrish School of Business, aims to foster a culture of entrepreneurship by providing students from all disciplines with a comprehensive range of resources and opportunities. These include education, programming, networking events, experiential learning, and mentoring sessions. The Center is dedicated to exposing students to the experiences of starting and running businesses, helping them understand the life-cycle of a business, and showcasing the potential of entrepreneurial spirit in creating successful startups. Through the expertise of its staff and state-of-the-art programming, the Center offers guidance to students in crucial areas such as business model development, sales, marketing, legal issues, intellectual property, finance, growth strategies, and business exit planning.

Whether a student ultimately starts a business or goes to work in an established organization, he or she will acquire the necessary skills to succeed. The combination of experiential learning, current and relevant programming and Endicott’s state of the art facilities creates a galvanizing link between theory and practice. This formula for fostering professional and personal growth across a broad range of career interests is what distinguishes Endicott’s business programs.
