CJ 206 - Transnational and Organized Crime The course analyzes the nature, impact, and theories of transnational and organized crime. It focuses on policies, investigation and prosecution of offenders of transnational crime and its increasing role as a national and international security concern. Possible topics include human trafficking, war crimes, international drug trafficking,smuggling of migrants, cybercrime, money laundering, environmental crime and terrorism. Legal, political, and law enforcement responses at the national and international levels are analyzed. Satisfies the Global Issues General Education Requirement.
