HSC 401 - Leadership for Meaningful Change

Within the United States, there are numerous social injustices by ability, age, geography, identity, income, race, and sexual orientation, in addition to injustices experienced by justice involved individuals and those with addiction. This course aims to develop leadership skills and competencies for meaningful social change. Using the Social Change Model of Leadership Development, students will engage with the Seven C’s of social change. The goal is for students to facilitate positive social change in their community.
