DRA 107 - Improvisational Theater Ensemble

Students develop their skills as improvisational comedians, public speakers, active listeners, and collaborators. Designed for both performers and non-performers, this troupe meets every week to play, laugh, and learn the fundamentals of improvisation. Students will develop their own artistic voice, be quick on their feet, support their scene partners, bring a positive attitude to their improv ensemble, and enjoy the power of play. Course may be repeated each semester for academic credit. This course contributes 1 credit to the Aesthetic Awareness and Creative Expression General Education requirement of 3 credits.
