AET 206 - Guitar for Expressive Therapies

This introductory course will teach students basic guitar skills for use within group settings for therapeutic and creative expression.  Students will learn how to play chords and strum patterns, develop skills in songwriting and song leading, and examine how musical dynamics can stimulate movement, emotion, and social interaction.  Students must provide their own acoustic guitar to enroll in this course.
