DRA 225 - History of World Theather

This course explores theater from its earliest recorded beginnings to contemporary drama.  Students dissect subject matter, dramatic structure, notable playwrights and dramatic literary works, acting approaches and techniques, stages, venues and playing spaces, and the development of production elements. Students will analyze the key developments of production and performance as they relate to contemporary drama today. Satisfies Aesthetic Awareness and Creative Expression General Education Requirement.
