MSAT 524 - General Medical Conditions

This course focuses on clinical signs and symptoms and recognition of systemic disease for the physically active population. Through case studies and simulation activities, students will differentiate conditions, make referral decisions, devise treatment plans and outline return to play criteria based on research-driven assessment and treatment information. The role of the athletic trainer in providing comprehensive healthcare is discussed.
