MUS 115 - Modern Band Project

A performance course wherein students learn to play various rock and roll styles. Emphasis upon characteristics of style to produce quality performances with professional sounding lead vocals, background vocals, instrumental solos, and arrangements. Students perform on campus. The course produces more than one band, depending on enrollment numbers. Course may be repeated each semester for academic credit. This course contributes 1 credit to the Aesthetic Awareness and Creative Expression General Education requirement of 3 credits.

Vocal or instrumental proficiency.
