Events offer a way for individuals to gain a deeper understanding of self, culture and society. In the past decade these gatherings have become recognized as not only socially and culturally important, but also having a significant contribution to the global economy. This course will explore and develop an understanding of the human experience through the lens of the events industry. The various sectors of the industry, including potential employment opportunities, will be examined.
