ED 301/301L - Math Methods and Lab

Students in this course will examine the purpose and content of the K-6 Mathematics curriculum, highlighting a wide variety of teaching procedures and instructional resources. Current research, frameworks, pedagogical methodology and varied approaches to assessment will be analyzed through content, theory, and practical application with lesson planning and implementation. A 30-hour classroom field experience is part of this course, and students must register for the lab section.
