EDN 560 - Neuroscience in Education Students find it helpful to see the brain from two organizational perspectives; anatomical and behavioral. This course will be an introduction to human neuropsychology structured to provide students with a basic understanding of the relationship between brain and behavior in the classroom. Topics covered will include foundations of neuropsychology, structure of the nervous system, functional specialization of the brain, cognitive functions, neuromyths, and assessments of brain disorders; teachers reflect on how such disorders present themselves and which pedagogical practices to use.
