EDN 611 - Theory and Practice of Online Learning

Online teaching is most effective when informed by the science of learning. This course deepens students’ understanding of those learning theories that form the basis of successful design of online teaching and learning. Theories for engaging adults, including college age, students, as well as k-12 learners is included. A culminating project allows students to apply theory to practice and to engage with the National Standards of Best Practices in online learning.
