OB 566 - Creativity and Innovation

This course is an introduction to the psychological study of creativity and innovation. We will discuss how to increase creative behavior in individuals, groups, and organizations, and highlight aspects that are common to all three. We will also explore strategies for implementing innovations. Topics will include: theories of creativity and innovation, the processes of creativity, characteristics of creative people, blocks to creativity, the motivation to create, and creative thinking tools for solving problems.
