NUR 725 - Epidemiology This course focuses on the identification and analysis of determinants that promote or inhibit the health of populations including aggregate, community, environmental/occupational and cultural/socioeconomic factors. Epidemiological and biostatistical methods will be used to examine contemporary public health issues within the context of nursing practice, education and research. Emphasis is placed on design and implementation of evidence-based clinical prevention and population health activities central to achieving national health goals.
