NUR 550 - Pathophysiology of Human Disease for Advanced Nursing Practice

This course provides an advanced understanding of concepts in human physiology and pathophysiology as a foundation for the advanced practice nursing role. The focus of this course is on current principles, theories, and research related to pathophysiology systems alterations across the lifespan. This course must be completed within three years of enrolling in the first of the FNP clinical/practicum course combinations (either NUR 567/NUR568 or NUR569/NUR570; whichever is taken first).
