Events Management (Bachelor of Science)

The Events Management major is a practitioner-focused, combines academic theory and current industry trends in a curriculum that gives students an understanding of the Events industry, preparing them to succeed as they move into their three -week and semester long internship and eventually into a professional career. Students with a BS in Events Management will be able to pursue careers in a wide range of event related fields in both profit and nonprofit organizations.

Learning Outcomes
At the completion of this major program, studdents will be able to: -
Demonstrate the analytical and problem-solving skills needed to solve complex challenges in events management. -
Calculate and interpret quantitative data. -
Evaluate evidence systematically in developing solutions to event management business problems. -
Demonstrate the critical inquiry and analysis skills needed to engage constructively in intellectual discourse within event management field. -
Communicate effectively in oral and written form within the conventions of events management. -
