Program Requirements

Students are required to take a minimum of 18 credits as follows:

Required Courses

Three semesters of MUS 106 Instruments and Voice (private lessons, one credit per semester) Note: May be repeated for up to 8 semesters for credit. Accumulation of three credits satisfies the Aesthetic Awareness and Creative Expression General Education Requirement; these courses may require additional instructional fees.

MUS 201 - Music Theory I (Cr: 3)

Three semesters participating in one or more of the following musical ensembles:

MUS 105 - Endicott College Chorus (Cr: 1)
MUS 113 - Jazz Band (Cr: 1)
MUS 114 - Chamber Ensemble (Cr: 1)
MUS 115 - Modern Band Project (Cr: 1)
MUS 116 - Pep Band (Cr: 1)

Additional Courses

Students select nine credits from courses with a MUS designation. (3 credits, or 1 credit taken 3 times)
