ABA 548 - Supporting Inclusion and Belonging in the Neurodiverse Population FA/SP
This is a Master’s level course that introduces frameworks for behavior analysts to engage and support neurodiverse individuals and communities. Embracing the principles of the inclusivity movement, this class broadens traditional views by emphasizing acceptance, belonging, and diversity. Students will learn to foster inclusivity through person-centered assessments, individualized goals, and strength-based interventions. Students will also discover strategies to promote social inclusion through genuine assent and collaborative approaches with families, schools, and the workplace.
