Academic Technology
Technology’s mission is to be responsive to the needs of the Endicott community by providing instruction and support in the use of current technologies and leadership in the evaluation and adoption of new and innovative ones. On a daily basis Academic Technology (AT) supports technology used for teaching and learning , including: Canvas - the campus Learning Management System, YuJa - a cloud-based media storage and distribution system, Virtual and Augmented Reality, plus iPad training and support. Campus computer labs function both as classrooms and as areas in which students can pursue independent projects. All labs provide internet access and are available to students between scheduled classes both day and evening. There are also public computers available for student use in the Halle Library and various other locations across campus. AT also provides workshops and training to faculty, staff and students in the use of various software programs, web tools, digital media and audio/video production technologies.

Canvas (canvas.endicott.edu) is the Learning Management System (LMS) and YuJa (endicott.yuja.com) is our cloud-based media storage and distribution server, allowing faculty to embed videos, distribute podcasts and other media files to their students in an efficient and secure manner. These online web tools allow faculty, students, and staff to collaborate and communicate in a variety of ways for courses and other approved campus departments and groups. Handouts, documents, and files of just about any type can be posted to these sites by faculty or administrators for access and download by students and others. Additionally, online forums where faculty, staff, and students can post topics and responses for discussion can take place 24/7. Chat rooms, web conferencing, online quizzes, tests, and other coursework and assignments, as well as announcements and online grading are also part of the Canvas LMS.

All students and faculty have access to Google Workspace where they can log in with their Endicott email address. Workspace includes Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Slides, and Sheets. Google Drive can be used for collaboration and sharing documents.

Workshops for faculty, students, and staff are offered throughout the year on a variety of learning technologies, including classroom and digital media technologies, Canvas, YuJa, Google Workspace, iPads/mobile devices and web conferencing/virtual classroom technology. Schedules are posted online each semester.

Center for Accessibility Services
The Center for Accessibility Services is committed to providing equal access for qualified students to all aspects of the college experience at Endicott. Accessibility Services provides reasonable accommodations for undergraduate and graduate students with documented disabilities on an individual basis. Students must self-identify and provide appropriate documentation of their disability to be eligible for reasonable accommodations and services as stated by the Americans with Disabilities Amendments Act of 2008 (ADAAA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. Our office seeks to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for all students by promoting inclusive practices, Universal Design for Learning, and disability awareness across the campus community.  Accessibility Services also provides guidance, support, and training to faculty and staff in their work with students with disabilities to provide assistance and promote best practices.  Please contact our office at access@endicott.edu with any questions.

Center for Academic Coaching
The Center for Academic Coaching provides a caring and consistent environment to support academic progress at Endicott. In the Center, students on the undergraduate or graduate level form an engaging and proactive partnership with a professional academic coach connected to the College and its culture to generate goals, execute plans, reflect on progress, adjust, and persist.

While the Tutoring and Writing Center focuses on mastery of content and completion of assignments, academic coaches partner with students to develop academic self-awareness and confidence; refine organization, time management, and information management techniques; understand how to identify, access, and maximize additional resources; create work plans and study schedules; and balance all aspects of the college experience.

Students meet individually and independently with academic coaches at a mutually convenient time for one, two, or three hours per week. There is a fee for this service, though a limited number of scholarships are available. The Center is open Monday through Friday, with evening hours available.

The Office for Student Success & Advising
The Office for Student Success and Advising empowers, educates and supports students throughout their educational experiences at the College. We are committed to ensuring that a student’s advising experience provides them with the knowledge and guidance to make the most out of their college experience. The Office provides students with advising support as they register for courses, or when they are looking into options like taking a leave of absence, withdrawing from the College or getting readmitted.

During the pre-registration advising period, the Office hosts advising workshops and individual advising sessions to help educate students on their degree audit, registration processes and course of study options. The Office works in partnership with all Deans, Associate Deans and faculty advisors to ensure consistent advising for all students.

In addition to traditional advising, the Office oversees all of the procedures related to undergraduate or graduate students taking a leave of absence, withdrawing from the College, changing their academic status, or being readmitted to the College. We advise both students and their families by meeting with them to discuss options and connecting them with campus offices to ensure that they are comfortable making a decision that makes the most sense for them.

If a student is interested in advising support or learning more about their option, please have them email success@endicott.edu.

Tutoring & Writing Center
The Tutoring & Writing Center, certified by the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA), staffs professional and peer tutors in order to support student learning and writing across the curriculum. Entrenched in the idea of tutoring as social, collaborative learning, tutors engage in dialogue with students in order to help students improve content retention, build  effective study strategies, produce strong papers, and develop as writers.. Tutors do not complete homework assignments or proofread written work on behalf of students. Single and reoccuring  sessions are available in person and remotely.

Diane Meyers Halle Library
The Diane M. Halle Library, centrally located on campus, serves as a vital academic support center for all levels of Endicott College’s academic programming. It functions as a hub for information resources, a supportive environment for independent inquiry, and a welcoming gathering place for students, faculty, and staff. The library’s comfortable, well-equipped facilities offer ample seating, environmentally friendly lighting, wireless internet, and attentive, helpful staff.

Open 94.5 hours per week during the academic year, the library also provides 24/7 access to its lower level, which includes additional study spaces, campus-networked computers, and printers.

Halle Library offers access to more than 380,000 titles in both print and digital formats to support the curriculum. Its periodical and research databases deliver hundreds of thousands of full-text journal articles across disciplines. In addition to its own holdings, the library provides interlibrary loan services through NOBLE (North of Boston Library Exchange)-a network of public and academic libraries with over two million items serving seventeen communities and seven academic institutions-and through the Massachusetts Commonwealth Catalog, a statewide consortium offering access to millions more titles.

Professional reference librarians support both students and faculty through individual assistance and group instruction, promoting the development of information literacy skills for lifelong learning. They help locate materials, deliver journal articles electronically, and facilitate access to eBooks. Services also include answering reference questions, advising on bibliographic resources, consulting on extended research projects, and, upon request, leading instructional sessions for specific course sections.

Post Center

The Post Center opened in September 1999. This 90,000 square-foot facility houses the Sport Science, Fitness, and Athletic Training Center. The building also includes classrooms, Athletic Training rooms, offices, fitness, weight, and group exercise room, racquetball court, locker rooms, a competition gymnasium seating 1,200 people, and a field house with a suspended running track.

In October of 2017, the Athletic Performance Center was added behind the Post Center to better serve our student-athletes in regards to their long-term development and performance. With the addition of the Athletic Performance Center, our student-athletes will utilize an individualized, year-round, linear periodization schedule, designed to achieve peak athletic performance during their respective competitive seasons.

In 2023, Endicott completely renovated its fitness center. As part of the renovations, Endicott completed a 2,000 square foot addition.  The fitness center sports new rubberized flooring throughout the facility, brand new equipment, 2 turf spaces, several new treadmills, spin bikes, elliptical machines, weight lifting equipment, free weights, and abdominal equipment. Furnished with 13 LED high-definition televisions, a new stereo system, and control desk, the fitness center provides patrons with a comfortable and safe environment in which to work out. By supporting Endicott’s mission statement, the Post Sport Science and Fitness Center strives to foster the total development of the individual in the areas of health and wellness. The Post Center contributes to the “Endicott Experience” by offering diverse programming and exceptional learning environments to meet the needs of today’s students and the Endicott community.
