DRA 215 - Acting for Film SP E
Students will prepare and develop skills and acting techniques needed to work on screen. Students will explore the actor’s relationship with the camera, with the script and with the director. Coursework includes improvisation, monologue and scene work, technical elements of storytelling, auditioning, and a unit on the business of acting which will prepare students for a career in film and television. In addition to acting, this course will teach fundamental technical skills as well as an introduction to the elements of film production which include, script/story structure, editing, lighting, and cinematography.
