ABA 870 - ABA Research Project

This mentored course is designed to provide students opportunities to engage in advanced research and scholarly activities. During the course, students will focus on generating a specific research question, designing an experimental study based on scientific principles of applied behavior analysis, obtaining approval from required institutional review boards, collecting data, evaluating and analyzing effects of the independent variable, and creating a scholarly manuscript based on their research project. Research projects can include a variety of study designs, including but not limited to single-subject or group designs. Students will experience taking a research project from inception all the way to completion.
