ABA 765 - Research Immersion Practicum I

This immersive course is the first in a two-part series designed to create learning opportunities for doctoral students to expand their research skills and repertoires. In this 135-hour mentored course, students will work with a content area expert to gain research experience in an area of interest to them. They will acquire deep knowledge and learning about their topic of choice by engaging in synthesizing literature reviews, writing conceptual papers, generating and designing research studies, and/or conducting empirical research. The goal is for students to work towards creating their own lines of research and acquiring the skills to take a research study from inception to completion.
