ABA 509 - Applied OBM FA/SP/SU
This course examines the application of Organizational Behavior Management (OBM) in organizational settings, focusing on the analysis, design, and implementation of behavior-based interventions to enhance organizational effectiveness. Students will evaluate business practices through an OBM framework, identifying successful and problematic processes and opportunities for improvement. Emphasizing data-driven decision-making, students will design and implement original project protocols, apply behavior-analytic strategies to workplace challenges, and monitor intervention effectiveness using performance metrics. The course will also explore best practices for training employees, communicating behavior analytic concepts to non-specialist audiences, and fostering sustainable behavior change while identifying and integrating employee and organizational-specific cultural, contextual, and personal variables.
