NU 430 - Professional Nursing Synthesis

This synthesis course focuses on the application of professional nursing knowledge, skills, and attitudes to the management of client care in a variety of settings to establish readiness for the RN-NCLEX©.  Students will apply critical thinking, clinical judgment, and evidence-based nursing care to comprehensive client scenarios and consider the nurse’s role as a change agent and advocate at the organizational and legislative policy level. Legal and ethical implications of health care policy will be explored in the context of diversity, equity, and inclusivity.
