HTM 321 - Rituals & Traditions in Events Events are a common way to mark milestones and honor rituals and traditions across cultures and societies. Rituals and traditions often reflect unique cultural heritage and translate through events a culture’s norms, values, lifestyles and creative expression. Traditions and rituals will be explored through the lens of the contemporary event’s industry. The influence of culture on special events will be highlighted to gain a deeper understanding of the significance of events.
Prerequisites & Notes Junior standing or permission of the instructor. Satisfies the World Cultures General Education requirement.
