EDU 716 - Advanced Qualitative Methods
This course builds on prior course work in qualitative methods (EDL715) and will introduce students to the main epistemological debates around the analysis of text. Throughout the course students will use naturalistic and interview-based material as well as literary sources (including film) to explore a range of methods for the interpretation of multi-layered and sometimes contradictory discourse in talk, in identity, in decision making and in education.
