NU 315 - Intercultural Nursing: Service Learning Experience

This course addresses the concepts of cultural humility, partnership building, risk reduction, and health promotion. Students actively explore health issues specific to a diverse part of the United States or global location. Students gain an understanding of the nurse’s role in delivery of care and the environmental, economic, socio-cultural, and political factors that influence health in a community with limited resources.
