SOC 320 - Racial and Ethnic Diversity in American Society
SP
An advanced course dealing with the historical and theoretical causes of the various relations between minority and majority groups found in the United States. Emphasis is on the social, cultural, and social-psychological causes and the individual, group, and institutional consequences of prejudice and discrimination. Satisfies the Individual and Society General Education requirement and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion requirement.
