PHT 116 - Introduction to Photographic Imaging

This course addresses fundamental photographic imaging methodology and photographic visual concepts. Emphasis is placed on the principles of light, exposure, image processing and file handling. Through imaging assignments, critiques and reading assignments, students will be introduced to principles of photographic visual language, composition, narrative, composite imagery and the use of images as a system of communication and expression.
