DAN 220 - Ballet Techniques II This course provides the instruction of ballet technique at the intermediate and advanced levels. Every student’s ability is assessed and training follows a curriculum designed for each student to progress to his or her maximum potential. Course addresses classical ballet vocabulary, technique, self-discipline, motivation, creativity, critical thinking, and confidence building. Instruction is provided by faculty from the Boston Ballet School with classes twice weekly, on campus and at Boston Ballet studios in Marblehead. Satisfies the Aesthetic Awareness and Creative Expression General Education requirement.
Prerequisites & Notes DAN 120 or equivalent dance training.
