Hotel Management

Return to {$returnto_text} Return to: Academic Programs of Study

Hotels are like small corporations with departments such as sales and marketing, human resources, accounting, food and beverage, and rooms; and general managers are CEOs of their properties. The School of Hospitality Management’s hotel management major exposes students to revenue management and the fiscal reality and responsibility of hotel processes and procedures. Students explore the functional areas of hotels, going beyond the scope of the core hospitality business curriculum. Upon completion of the major, students will have both the breadth of the hospitality field and the depth of hotel
operations.

Matriculated students are advised to seek internships in different hotel departments applicable to their career paths. Les Roches is the preferred study abroad option for students who may choose to earn the Les Roches diploma in conjunction with the Endicott bachelor’s degree. These two credentials give students a unique competitive advantage in hotel management.
