ART 229 - Specific Populations: Arts and Expressive Therapy Within a studio setting students build upon their knowledge of the use of creative arts therapy materials and methods and apply such techniques for use with a variety of different human populations. Populations include groups and individuals of different ages, settings, and medical or psychological diagnoses. Students assess, design, and critique creative therapeutic approaches and techniques as well as explore the role of group dynamics and group experiences. Satisfies the Individual and Society General Education Requirement.
Prerequisites & Notes ART 110 or permission of instructor.
