HST 306 - New England History This course examines the history of the region from the Colonial era to the recent past. Among the topics studied are indigenous peoples, religion, slavery, immigration, reform movements, politics, the whaling and textile industries, technology and innovation, regional identity, and New England’s contributions to American history and culture.
