HON 150 - Honors Seminar II Building on the foundation started in HON 100, this course asks students to apply their understanding of culture to a range of cultural settings, materials, and practices. Students continue to read and interpret cultural texts, examine the culture of their academic discipline, and engage in field-based activities that apply theory to practice. High standards of academic reading, writing, and discussion are expected throughout the course, and students are asked to complete substantial papers, presentations, and/or research projects. A learning portfolio assessing intellectual growth throughout HON 100 and HON 150 is completed.
Prerequisites & Notes Participation in the Endicott Scholars Program and HON 100. Satisfies the ENG 111 Critical Reading and Writing I core requirement.
