Legal Studies (Minor)

Program Requirements

Students are required to take a minimum of 18 credits in Legal Studies courses.  CJ 410 Law and Society and  POL 213 American Government and Politics are required.  Students must take four courses from the following list:

• BUS 302 - Legal Environment for the Business Manager (Cr: 3)
• CJ 151 - Criminal Law (Cr: 3)
• CJ 205 - The American Court System (Cr: 3)
• CJ 300 - The Juvenile Justice System (Cr: 3)
• CJ 301 - Criminal Procedure (Cr: 3)
• CMM 380 - Media Ethics and Law (Cr: 3)
• HST 225 - The Salem Witch Trials (Cr: 3)
• HTA 360 - Hospitality Legal Perspectives (Cr: 3)
• POL 384 - Environmental Law (Cr: 3)
• SM 405 - Sports Law (Cr: 3)
