IST 314 - Workers in Modern World History A topical examination of the complex issues surrounding workers and global economies. Students will read and analyze essays, monographs, and primary sources organized around four focused themes. Issues to be considered include global capitalism, transnational cooperation and conflict, assimilation, resistance, and the social lives of working people. Satisfies the Social Science core requirement.
Prerequisites & Notes Sophomore status. Crosslisted with HST 314.
