PHY 260 - Cosmology The study of the structure and evolution of the astronomical universe (stars, galaxies, clusters of galaxies, etc.). Some relevant questions are: How large is the universe? What is its structure? How long has it existed? How has it changed over time? How will it continue to change in the distant future? How do we approach these questions? Satisfies the Science and Math core requirement.
Prerequisites & Notes One semester of college experience. Formerly SCN 260.
