ABA 536 - Experimental Analysis of Behavior This course was designed to provide students with an overview and appreciation of the contributions of the Experimental Analysis of Behavior (EAB) to the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. EAB evolved from various empirical and conceptual trends in early studies of evolution, animal behavior, and psychology. It also produced a remarkable record of discovery, elucidating both general principles and effective methods of behavior change which, in turn, led to the development of Applied Behavior Analysis. The course will provide examples of EAB to illustrate how this research approach and its discoveries have shaped our applied science.
