ABA 541 - Behavioral Assessment This course introduces students to important areas of assessment in behavior analysis, including functional assessment, skills assessment, and preference assessment. The primary focus will be conducting a variety of assessments, the results of which will be used to formulate intervention programs in a subsequent course (ABA 554-Behavior Change Procedures). Course content is based on current best practices in applied behavior analysis and will include a detailed overview of assessment procedures used. Emphasis is placed on helping students understand the conceptual issues that led to the development of the assessment methodology and the practical issues in conducting such assessments.
