ABA 534 - Measurement & Experimental Evaluation of Behavioral Interventions I An initial course in the use of single-subject research methodology within applied behavior analysis, which includes an overview of behavioral measurement, single-subject research designs, and methods of data analysis. Single-case experimental designs are a hallmark of applied behavior analysis, operating to demonstrate functional relationships between applications of independent variables and subsequent effects upon dependent variables. This course will examine theoretical and practical issues in experimental design and control, providing students with a framework for practical applications of research methodology to examine the efficacy of interventions through the use of a natural science approach across educational, clinical, and community settings.
