SPE 515 - Reading Instruction in Special Education This course discusses the process of designing and implementing literacy instruction for students with disabilities. Participants will explore theories of reading based on empirical evidence and best practices of reading instruction to serve the individual needs of students with disabilities. Participants will also learn to identify appropriate instructional strategies, behavioral objectives, and supplemental learning tools, including technology as it relates to inclusive education of students with disabilities.
