RDL 515 - Writing Instruction Learning to read and to write are reciprocal processes. This course emphasizes the value of integrating writing across all disciplines and grade levels, as supported by research, as well as developing writing as a tool for learning, reading, and enhancing content understanding. Students will investigate both writing development and assessment, including rubrics to evaluate student writing. The course will prepare students to integrate opportunities for listening, speaking, reading, and critical thinking into the writing process.
