PE 210 - Nutrition A course designed to educate students in the scientific and applied aspects of nutrition. Students gain scientific information that enhances their ability to apply these principles in any educational or community setting. They learn the importance of nutrition in its relationship to disease, different needs throughout the life cycle, and food safety implications. Finally, students are exposed to and are able to discuss current research as it relates to nutritional concepts. Satisfies the Science and Technology General Education requirement.
